ARRIVING TO VIENNA

Flying

The Vienna Airport (VIE) is served by all main line and the main low-cost companies.

The Vienna Airport is only 20 minutes from the centre by car or City Airport Train (CAT). Public transport (bus/local trains) and taxi services are available, along with car rental. More info at: Viennaairport - Passengers

Vienna is easily reachable by train from all central main cities in Europe.

ARRIVING TO the VENUES

CAR

The venue is easily reachable by car and is just next to a freeway exit Exit 7 - Mödling. You need to have a valid toll ticket (Vignette) in order to drive on the motorway.

In all sport centers there is plenty of public parking spaces free of charge.

The venues are just outside the Vienna district, where you must pay for parking 2,50€/h from Monday to Friday 8:00-22:00.

Public Transport

All playing venues are along the same tramway line called Badnerbahn or Local Train to Baden. The tram starts from the Vienna Central Station and it takes about 35’ to reach the venues.

ATTENTION: due to construction works along the line, you will need to change to a bus running as substitution among the Stations “Inzensdorf” and “Vösendorf”. From there on you continue with the tram. Please calculate about 10’-15’ more than the regular time.

The trams goes regularly with 8’ or 15’ intervals.

Venue stops:

For the venue Südstadt Sport Center exit Südstadt bei Wien Südstadt Bahnhof.

For the venue Wiener Neudorf Sport Center exit Wiener Neudorf Bahnhof.

For the venue Neu Guntramsdorf Sport Center exit Neu-Guntramsdorf Lokalbahn. There will be no shuttle service between accommodations and fields.

TAXI

Taxies transfer is quite expensive from the airport to Vienna or Mödling district (district of the event). Without pre-reservation it’s about 70€ to Mödling.

If you need to take a Taxi on your last day to go to the airport, we do suggest you to book it on time. These are taxi companies based in Mödling, that make special fares (about 35€-40€ fix price):
